Riley Green took the stage during the season 28 finale of The Voice on Tuesday night (December 16).

The award-winning country star performed “Jesus Saves,” a heartfelt track that appears on his latest full studio record, Don’t Mind If I Do. Green’s performance was “pure magic on stage,” per NBC, and the song “hits straight to the heart.”

Green included “Jesus Saves” on Don’t Mind If I Do, which he originally released in 2024 and expanded into a 24-track project earlier this year. The album also includes “Change My Mind,” “Reel Problems” with Luke Bryan, “Way Out Here,” “Worst Way,” “Cowboy As It Gets” with Randy Houser, “I Just Need You” with Hannah McFarland, “Make It Rain,” and the title track with Ella Langley. “Don’t Mind If I Do” is Green’s second successful duet with his fellow Alabama-born country artist. The two of them teamed up on “you look like you love me,” a viral hit that earned multiple CMA victories this year.

“It would be really difficult not to try to do another song with Ella because that’s really worked well,” Green said backstage at the CMA Awards when asked about dream collaborations. “I think any collaboration that I do has got to be something that’s really organic. And just, you know, somebody that I have a relationship with, somebody I’m friends with, somebody I’m a fan of, and has the same musical inspirations that I did. I think me and Ella grew up the same way, and I think fans can tell when it’s real. There’s certainly some collaborations that go through management and labels and the proper channels, and I’ve never done it that way. It’s always been somebody I’m friends with says ‘hey, I like this song, wanna be a part of it?’”
