Post Maloneâs country era will continue with the singer-songwriterâs next record.
The âI Had Some Helpâ hitmaker confirms in an interview with Billboard ahead of his 2025 Coachella headlining performance that heâs working on his second country project after 2024âs F-1 Trillion. Post Malone, 29, told the outlet heâs âmade probably 35 songs; itâs just a matter of which oneâs rock, and which oneâs sock.â He laughed and said he would âabsolutely notâ perform the unreleased music at Coachella, but said heâs âso excitedâ about whatâs next.
Post Malone released F-1 Trillion and its deluxe edition, F-1 Trillion: Long Bed in August 2024. The highly-anticipated record included collaborations with some of Nashvilleâs most respected songwriters, legendary country artists, bluegrass virtuosos and more. Some of the biggest tracks featured Morgan Wallen, Blake Shelton, Luke Combs, Chris Stapleton, Dolly Parton and Lainey Wilson, to name a few. The record also included Jelly Roll and Sierra Ferrell, who will both join Post on his âBIG A** Stadium Tourâ this year.
âThank you to everyone involved in the making of this project. I am so honored to have worked with some of my favorite artists, writers, and friends,â Post Malone wrote in a caption on Instagram when he released F-1 Trillion. The album arrived days after he made his debut at the historic Grand Ole Opry in Nashville. âI have had the time of my life making this record, itâs something Iâve wanted to do for a long time, and Iâm so excited for the opportunity to make it. Everyone keep expressing yourself, having fun, loving what you do, and loving each other. I love you more than I can say.â
