Miranda Lambert shared a heartfelt birthday tribute to her husband, former New York City police officer Brendan McLoughlin, who celebrates his 33rd birthday on Monday (October 14).

“HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my best friend, travel buddy, home cookin, pasta makin, animal lovin, down for anything, warmest, kindest, city gone country boy!” Lambert gushed in her caption as she shared several photos of McLoughlin on Instagram. “Brendan you are a light in every room you walk in. I’m so lucky to see that smile of yours everyday forever. Thanks for being you. 🩵🤠 33 looks so good on you!”

Lambert and McLoughlin tied the knot in January 2019. They met just a few months earlier when McLoughlin was working security while Lambert performed with her band, Pistol Annies (a trio that also includes Ashley Monroe, and Angaleena Presley), on Good Morning America. Last month, Lambert and McLoughlin matched in stunning black suits on the red carpet at the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards at UBS Arena in New York City. Lambert previously shared photos from the show and referred to her husband as “my hot date” that evening. McLoughlin shared a tribute to Lambert on her 40th birthday in November, writing in part that the Postcards from Texas star is “the most beautiful person inside and out.”
