A man in North Carolina is celebrating an "unbelievable" lottery prize just a couple short months after scoring another jackpot win thanks to a digital instant game.

Jack Dixon, of Oxford, won big earlier this summer with a lucky Cash 5 ticket, earning a $487,750 jackpot back in July, according to a release from the NC Education Lottery. However, his luck didn't end there. Last week, he purchased a $1 ticket in the Bison Bonanza digital instant game and ended up landing another huge prize, this time beating the 1 in 31 million odds to win the top level 'Epic Jackpot' that had a prize of $161,534.

Speaking to lottery officials, Dixon couldn't believe his luck that he won not just one large lottery prize but two, all within the span of a couple months.

"It's kind of unbelievable," he said, adding, "I'm just thankful."

Dixon claimed his prize at lottery headquarters on Tuesday (September 3), taking home a total of $115,498 after all required state and federal tax withholdings. According to lottery officials, the Granville County man is still trying to decide on how to use his new winnings, but what he does know is that he wants to "do something good with it."
