Delish compiled a list of the best restaurant in each state that was featured on the iconic show. So of all the North Carolina restaurants featured on the show, which one was named the best?
The Improper Pig
This Charlotte fusion barbecue joint is one of the state's more recent appearances on the hit show, first airing during Season 25, Episode 5 in February 2017. Here's what Delish had to say:
"What's so improper about this pig? That would be the subtle twist on traditional Southern barbecue. The Charlotte restaurant is know for its funky dishes, from the Chaobao Taco (a steamed bun with pulled pork, hoisin sauce, and a cabbage slaw) to the brisket nachos (served on top of kettle potato chips)."
