Carly Pearce Drops 'You Kissed Me First' From Upcoming New Album

Carly Pearce has released another new song from her upcoming self-titled album. The new track, "You Kissed Me First" is the last new song fans will hear ahead of the full album release on February 14.

"I’ll never forget sitting on my bus one night and getting a text that Hillary Lindsey had sent this song for me to hear because she wrote it with me in mind," Pearce explains on social media. "The minute I heard it, I knew she had yet again written a moment in my story."

She adds, "I still say @michaelraymusic kissed me first, but I guess only the wine will ever REALLY know 😉💋"

"You Kissed Me First" is the sixth song released from her upcoming album. Previously released tracks include "Closer To Me," "Call Me," "It Won't Always Be Like This," and her duet with Lee Brice, "I Hope You're Happy Now." Most recently Pearce shared "Heart's Going Out Of Its Mind," which is the first song she wrote about her now husband Michael Ray.

"I remember going into write a few days after my first date with @michaelraymusic. I felt high, I felt out of body & definitely out of my mind-- but somehow, I just knew," Pearce previously said. "I'm so happy to bring y'all the very first song I wrote about my now HUSBAND. This song marks the beginning of my forever."

Pearce's new album, Carly Pearce, is due out on February 14. The record will include a total of 13 songs, including a special duet with Ray called "Finish Your Sentences." Other popular country artists like Luke Combs, Kelsea Ballerini, Thomas Rhett and more are writers on the project.

This summer, Pearce will join Old Dominion on select dates for their "We Are Old Dominion Tour." The run will kick off May 5 in Key West, Florida, hitting 13 cities from coast to coast including Charleston, South Carolina, Berkeley, California, Stateline, Nevada and more.
