Taylor Swift got a make under for her role in the new box office blockbuster The Giver.

The country megastar recently sat down on the movie’s set in full big screen garb for an interview with Entertainment Tonight.

Taylor, who plays the emotionless “Rosemary” in the flick, is seen in character in a brunette wig with very little makeup on her face.

Showing no emotion is certainly out of character for Taylor, who reveals how her feelings have helped her to become successful.

“To me, emotion is such an important part of my life and now I guess my job,” she says. “People wouldn’t listen to my songs if they weren’t heart broken or deeply affected and hurt and jilted and sad and bitter and all those wonderful things that I write songs about.”
