Carrie Underwood may not be limiting her NFL involvement to just Sunday nights this season.

According to popular sports blog TerezOwens, Carrie is rumored to headline the Super Bowl XLIX (44) halftime show.

Reportedly, inside sources revealed to the blog Carrie is in talks to follow in the footsteps of Bruno Mars, Madonna, Janet Jackson and the Rolling Stones (just to name a few), who have all taken the helm of the Super Bowl concert event.

Carrie’s halftime show wouldn’t be her first tie to the Super Bowl, though.

The megastar joined Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler for CMT Crossroads: Steven Tyler and Carrie Underwood Live From Pepsi Super Bowl Fan Jam in 2012.

Currently, she’s the voice of the Sunday Night Football signature open.

No official word from Carrie’s camp on her could-be Super Bowl halftime show.
