There’s a bromance brewing between Brad Paisley and Ludacris.

The country megastar and the big-name rapper both sit on the panel of ABC’s new singing reality competition Rising Star, and Brad admits the two are completely different.

But their bromantic bond can’t be stopped.

“He’s such a big star, a great actor and one of the most important and influential rappers of all time,” Brad says. “He has earned the right to be sort of difficult, but he is so warm and brilliant.”

Ludacris is no stranger to friendships in the country world. He did a version of “Dirt Road Anthem” with Jason Aldean.

The rapper and fellow Rising Star expert Kesha joined Brad on the red carpet for the opening of Disney's Planes: Fire and Rescue.

Brad contributed a song to the movie’s soundtrack and voiced a small role.
