Punk Band Makes Fun of Route 91 Las Vegas Shooting

NOFX, a noted punk band, took a cheap shot on stage at a Las Vegas performance during the Punk Rock Bowling Festival on May 27th.  They referred to the Route 91 shooting from October 1, 2017, where 58 people lost their lives during a mass shooting attack.

The lead singer, Fat Mike, and guitarist, Eric Melvin, decided to make fun of the incident and joke about it.  In the city where the massacre occurred, nonetheless.  Right about 9:40 into the video below, you can hear them say "You only get one shot in Vegas if you're a country band.  At least they were country fans and not punk fans."

I'm sorry, but in my opinion, this is never okay.

It's never okay to make fun of people who were killed.  We are all listeners of music, and they lost their life simply for going to a concert.  It could have just as easily been a punk show.

NOFX, I have no respect for you.  This is disgusting.  You should be ashamed of yourselves.

At least their fans on Facebook didn't hold back and told them how disgraceful this is, too.
