Taylor Swift is one of my all time favorite artists. Not only does she put on a great show, but she is genuinely one of the nicest and most grateful people I've ever met. She was in Nashville prepping for her upcoming world tour, and when songwriter Craig Wiseman invited her to come to one of Nashville's most iconic spots to surprise the audience, that's exactly what she did.
She played acoustic versions of "Shake It Off," "Love Story," and a few others. There were about 40 people in the club, and they got a show that some would pay a lot of money to see.
"I wanted to say a big thank you to the Bluebird Cafe," Taylor, 28, said, according to the Tennessean. "I think any songwriter in town would echo my sentiments and say that this is kind of the only place where this exists -- this particular place where you get to come and hear the writer's take on the songs they've put out into the world."
