Brantley Gilbert is starting over after a tour bus fire destroyed many of his belongings.
The country star reveals he lost clothes, guitars, letters, pictures and many items he had customized for his 4-month-old son Barrett Hardy in the early March fire.
âWe had it built with [Barrett] in mind cominâ, and we had just finished all the baby aspects of the bus and got it just perfect,â he says.
Brantley adds losing his bus feels more like losing his home.
âI spend a lot of time on it, and if Amber and Barrett arenât home, I sleep in the bus,â the singer says. âItâs just my place. Itâs kind of like my little sanctuary so I feel like I kinda lost an old friend a little bit ... but weâll build another one.â
No one was injured in the fire, and it's not clear if wife Amber and the couple's son were on board at the time.
Brantleyâs The Ones That Like Me Tour resumes this weekend at the Tuscaloosa Amphitheater in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
